OFFICIAL SELECTION FESTIVAL “CORTO… MA NON TROPPO”

The echo of the past is a short film directed by Daniele di Gregorio that deals with the typical issues of adolescence and young people today: social isolation, loneliness, love pains. The restlessness. Through a journey into the psyche, the traumas and emotions of the protagonists are explored.

The Photography in this short film assimilates, weaves and interprets the narration, bringing the imaginary to the maximum of its expressiveness. Chiara chose to attribute evocative power to the shots by creating intense luminous sensations.

Luca, a 23-year-old boy, lives in an apathetic and asocial state: he never leaves home following a trauma. Martina, a 22-year-old girl is a prisoner in a morbid relationship with her boyfriend Marcello, once a good boy, now a violent drunkard. After a chance meeting, Luca and Martina will approach and find a way to overcome their respective problems together.
